Congo Trail Canopy Tour -849 meters along 11 lines with 14 platforms your zipping above the jungle, what more could you want.  Well, they have horse back riding, ATV tours and a monkey habitat too.  20 minutes from Coco which makes it closer than the airport.  Stay around until around 4pm and the wild monkeys are usually around the main entrance.

Want a day out fishing? Robert Gunselman  does a great 1/2 day family oriented trip.  He normally starts off bottom fishing and then to trolling for the really big fish.  If they're still not biting then you can put away the poles and opt for a little beach snorkeling excursion.
