The Only Gas Carts for rent in Town.  No worries if the place you're staying has a charging station or if you forget to plug the cart in after a long day of fun.  If you're just scooting around town to the local restaurants and bar, we still have the electric ones for rent also.

Life around Playa del Coco is a lot slower paced than most people expect.  So much slower we use golf carts as one of our prime modes of getting around.  We have Scooters to rent to the kids but they too eventually slow down as we all do.

We started out with three electric carts to give added value to our Condo renters.  One thing led to another and after a night of too many Imperial beers it was agreed we'd go full out with this.  So my buddy Dave and I ordered 16 gas powered carts from the states and made a deal with our buddy Federico to rent the carts.  Dave and I drink beer at the Pacifico Pool and local bars to find clients and  Federico and Pedro run the rental lots.

We've kept the three electric carts as they're still great if you are local to Coco and are on one of the ground floor condos. However, if you're staying out of the immediate area or up on one of the hills then your going to be struggling trying to keep those batteries charged and not left out on the streets.  This is not a sales pitch, Dave and I both had battery carts before and experienced this first hand.  Now Dave drives one of the new gas carts and I drive the buggie below.  Dave's not happy with me as I make him always ride with me as his cart is too slow.....UPDATE!!  Dave's now bought a Honda Pioneer UTV to try and keep up but the Green Machine keeps him in the rear view mirror still!
